The intense sensory overload of visiting the jungle leaves an indelible impression on your mind and soul. To capture this feeling I’ve designed a large and beautiful oval cut emerald held in place by a platinum exotic flower, large spider, butterfly and humming bird surrounded by a stone encrusted form reflecting the arresting colours of the lush rainforest foliage. On the inside of the ring shank I've pierced through the metal to create the iconic leaf shape of the cheese plant, so synonymous with vegetation in these locations.
From dark emeralds in the lower canopy rising to the lighter peridot, blues of the sky breaking through the canopy (Aquamarines & sapphires) red rubys for the exotic flowers and fruits as well as a curious tree frog perched on the side. In total there are 427 smaller stones in this design.
